Geepeeyes is a GPS add-on for Google Earth which is the most powerful navigational tools available. geepeeyes plots location, speed, trail, heading and speaks the driving directions on a dynamic map view even if Google Earth is off-line (cached) or better yet put those wireless broadband interface cards, such as 3G / GPRS/ EVDO into use. This software will surely increase your experience when dealing with the satellite images you need.It doesn't even require you to upgrade to the premium versions of Google Earth to use it. The great thing is that you can use buildings and reference points to direct you instead with geepeeyes. Also, the program allows you to look at routes and locations for real instead of plain road maps. It is open source software that will let you perform GIS. It's free for both personal and commercial use thus the perfect choice for those who want an alternative for GIS.
Comparable to other applications like GPS and Google earth whose support is only available on the Plus and a Pro edition of Google Earth and it is limited to Garmin & Magellan devices, it uses buildings and reference points to direct you and allows you to look at routes and locations for real.
Any user can use it either for navigational purposes or as fun to check out maps.
