WordWeb brings an extensive English dictionary that gives you the definitions of any given word without requiring you to go online on the Windows desktop. The free monolingual reference book offers more 120,000 entries and has a synonym dictionary aboard. In addition to the integrated offline, WordWeb database provides access to several online dictionaries and encyclopedias, including leo.organd Wikipedia.
After the start WordWeb makes first noticed an icon in the system tray and remains in the background in waiting and when you point the cursor in any application on an English word pressing CTRL + right-click activates the hitherto inconspicuous dictionary. WordWeb main program opens the view with the corresponding entry. Its interface feels like an expanded version of any major word processing app's dictionary function giving users an instant familiarity even if they've never used WordWeb. When you type a term into the Lookup dialog box the word's definition will appear in the interface's top panel along with tabs that link to various wiki functions. About a flashcard-rider system is also clicked through to synonyms or enabled if the PC is online. You will get this dictionary with more matching entries including Web LEO dictionary or Wikipedia encyclopedia.
WordWeb like with intuitive one-click activation. Without first having to use the cumbersome clipboard the free dictionary connects directly to the entry that you wish. The depth and functionality of WordWeb would be worth paying for but thankfully you don't have to redefine your budget to get it.
